A Collaborative Clinical Trials on Enoxaein(B-MARK^(®)) in Pneumonia and Acute Bronchitis

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical effects of Enoxacin (B-M ARKS) on pneumonia and acute bronchitis in Korea.
A prospective study was conducted on the open trial basis by the team in the Kangnam St. Mary´s Hospital of Catholic Medical College.
The clinical effects were investigated with- Enoxacin in 10 cases of pneumonia and 10 cases of acute bronchitis.
The results were as follows:
1) In 10 cases of pneumonia, excellent response was shown in 8 cases(80%), fair response in 2 cases(20%).
2) Improvement was observed in all cases of acute bronchitis, efficacy rate being 100%. 3) As the adverse reaction, we could find out 3 cases of nausea, I case of anorexia. From the above results, Enoxacin was proven to be useful for respiratory tract disease
including pneumonia and acute bronchitis.
